Rating by category:
Very small rooms, but location is just excellent. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly and always ready to help. Good values for your money.
Strategic location, reasonably close to Metro stations and restaurants.
Room was very small, hardly any space to move about - but typical room size in Paris budget hotel. Foreign hotel staff was very pleasant. Night duty staff not so pleasant...
Excellent location for walking to some attractions particularly Notre Dame
Great Location, walking distance to Notre Dame, Centre Pompidou and plenty of restaurants in area. About 20 mins walk from the Louvre (name a bit misleading). Excellent double glazing to keep the noise out and air conditioning
Were given room 42 first, but chambermaid was not yet finished so changed us to 44. Big difference, much nicer room. But still very cramped (especially bathroom) and old/dated. Could do with a little refreshing
Excellent location, very clean and comfortable, reception staff very efficient and friendly.
Bedrooms rather small, breakfast adequate and although expensive compares reasonably with the local restaurants.
Location was superb. Room was small but efficient. Staff was delightful
The airport transport system with which the hotel has an arrangement is a disaster. The van arrived 40 minutes late. The driver had an accident on the way to the airport. The hotel desk clerk said he has gotten many complaints about this van service
the location is excellent - very close to a lot of the city famous places (Notre-Dam...), the staff is very polite and informative and wheeling to help.
the room was very very small.
good location, we had a quiet clean beautiful room, comfortable bed (a bit short)
Excellent location, nice and quiet place, staff are nice and room is clean
Smoke smell from other room throught the window
Reasonable, bit worn-out, but good value for money.
The hotel is extremely convenient to all the main Museums and Marais district There is air conditioning in the rooms which in Paris during the warmer months is a must. The location of the hotel is its best attribute.
Upon arrival I was given a very tiny Alice in Wonderland room in the back of the hotel which I had to ask to be changed to a larger room. The access to the bathroom was practically over the bed and there was no room to place a suitcase anywhere. I am quite a small person and I have stayed in Paris on 3 previous occasions but this was the smallest room I have encountered. As my stay was 5 nights I would have thought a good room would have been selected. The room I was then put into did not have either a bar fridge or a safe deposit box - both items being advertised as available in all rooms. Not so! On one occasion I had to ask the maid to make up my room as it was not done by 3.30pm. The night before my departure I booked both an early morning wake up call and a taxi for my departure. This information was not conveyed to the morning desk clerk which necessitated my having to hail a taxi myself and I was late getting to CDG for my flight.
The room was freshly remodeled with taste
A bizarre rumble was shaking the building at all times. Even though its level was minute it made something rattle in the bathroom. I think it was the panels on the ceiling. That kept me awake for quite some time
Really good location for exploring the nicest, in my humble opinion, areas in the city, both above and below the river, simply walking, or on a bike (strongly recommended). Free wifi was extremely helpful, in my case. Very nice staff.
Toilet/shower zone is very small. And, yes, Paris hotel prices (at least for budget hotels) are definitely too high, compared to other European capital cities, especially during important trade fairs.
Location of the Hotel is perfect, near the Marais. On Sunday I needed to check out but overslept (12.45h instead of 11h). The reception called me and did not make me pay any additional amounts.
The hotel was excellent for us: very good location, good room (corner room on 5th floor but no problem as lift worked very well). We were able to walk to Pompidou and there were lots of cafes, restaurants and good shops in the area. The room and the ensuite were clean and well maintained during our stay, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for showers. We did not have breakfast in the hotel as it was expensive and we wanted to try the cafes nearby.
Everything worked well for us.
